Jason D. Gellman
Jason D. Gellman practices in the areas of public utilities, energy and telecommunications, water, and administrative law. Jason has appeared before the Arizona Corporation Commission regularly on matters involving public utilities, including rate cases, financings, service area extensions and rulemakings. He has also worked with utilities developing renewable energy and energy efficiency implementation plans and programs. Jason has appeared several times before the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee regarding the locating and permitting of power lines and power generation plants. Before joining Roshka, DeWulf & Patten, Jason was an Attorney and Senior Staff Counsel with the Arizona Corporation Commission from 2001 to 2006. Jason was also a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office from 1998 to 2001 – and appeared regularly before several courts in Maricopa County. Jason has also made appearances in bankruptcy court and has worked on regulatory compliance, general business law and litigation matters. He also has volunteered as an attorney-coach with the South Mountain High School Law Magnet Program since 2008. Jason also has taken several pro bono guardianship cases with the Arizona Children’s Law Center.
