Timothy J. Sabo
Timothy J. Sabo practices before the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) in utility rate cases, rulemakings, certificate applications, complaint and enforcement proceedings and other regulatory matters. Tim has appeared in over 70 ACC hearings, including serving as "first chair" for several large water rate cases. He also has substantial experience in appeals of ACC orders. Tim has assisted clients with many complex ACC jurisdictional issues, including whether entities were public service corporations subject to the jurisdiction of the ACC. Tim is also a co-founder and editor of Arizona Regulatory Reports, a newsletter covering water, wastewater and reclaimed water issues at the ACC. Tim also practices securities litigation, including defending enforcement actions brought by the Securities Division of the ACC.

- Obtained approval for initial public offering of large water utility.
- Secured multiple large CC&N (service area) extensions, including 34 square mile extension for water utility.
- Briefed and successfully argued the appeal of the Commission's order approving a large coal-fired power plant.
